Say the Sight Words — Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Gazzini Ventures (“we”) covering the Say the Sight Words app for iPad and iPhone. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

What the app is

Say the Sight Words is a reading-practice app for children: flash cards for letters, numbers, and kindergarten sight words that advance on their own when the card is read aloud, plus a timed Sight Word Sprint. It is an educational aid, not a formal assessment tool — nothing in the app measures your child’s ability or progress against any standard.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law says we can’t stop you.

Parents

The app is intended to be used by children with a parent or guardian’s consent. Anything in the app addressed to adults (including links out of the app) sits behind a parental gate. Supervising screen time is your call, not ours.

Privacy

The app collects no data and speech recognition runs entirely on the device — see the Say the Sight Words Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the recognizer will always catch a word on the first read — young readers and speech recognition both have good days and better days.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gazzini Ventures is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which, for the free app, is zero).

Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may discontinue the app at any time — since it runs entirely on your device, an installed copy keeps working regardless.
